We had such a delightful stay at this little gem! The room we stayed in looked out onto a beautiful garden, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. We were pleasantly surprised when we asked if our friends could join us for breakfast and our request was immediately granted. Speaking of breakfast, it was a true delight, with delicious homemade treats to enjoy. The attention to detail and charm of this place made it truly special. We absolutely loved our time here and would highly recommend it.

Loved lounging in the well-designed shared lounge, and had a blast exploring the surroundings on the free bicycles. The sun terrace with mountain views was the cherry on top.

Oh, I just adored the lack of air conditioning and the absence of a fan in my room! Nothing like sweating in silence and being eaten alive by mosquitoes.

I had a wonderful time staying at Sorgvry - House Of Guests in Barrydale. The breakfast served here was superb and truly unique. The location was convenient and the main house rooms were lovely, filled with beautiful antique furniture and classy interior design. The hosts, Uwe and Carel, were perfect - friendly and considerate. The garden was also a highlight, adding to the overall charm and relaxation of the place.

The shared lounge was a perfect place to eavesdrop on awkward conversations. Using the bicycles was a great way to tire myself out before collapsing on the sun terrace and staring at a mountain. The seating and dining area came in handy for pretending to be a fancy lady while eating microwave dinners.

I especially loved the large private relaxation/lounge area that came with the room. the hosts were amazing, they paid great attention to detail and made sure all our needs were attended to. the breakfast spread was lovely, with high quality fresh produce and a great variety of options. the service from the hosts was warm and friendly. the boutique hotel was clean and well located, making it convenient for exploring the area.

The toilet and shower were not separated from the bedroom, which could be a minor inconvenience for some couples. It would have been nice to have bottled water supplied in the room and an on-site parking option would have been convenient, considering the hotel's large property.
